Biography:
Dr. TamásSzili-Török is an Associate Professor and Clinical Head of the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology at the Erasmus Medical Center Rotterdam, with an extensive list of credentials in cardiac electrophysiology and robotic cardiac intervention. He completed his PhD at the Erasmus MC and after a few years in Budapest, returned to Rotterdam in 2007. He has been living and working there since. In Hungary he led the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory at the Gottsegen György Hungarian Institute of Cardiology in Budapest and started a busy pediatric electrophysiology program including cardiac ablations and device implantations. In 2007 returned to his Dutch alma mater and continued to work at the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology at the prestigious Thoraxcentre. He has authored over 250 peer reviewed publications and co-funded the Society for Cardiac Robotic Navigation. As a pioneer in robotic cardiac intervention, dr. Szili-Torok is a researcher, educator, key opinion leader and frequent guest speaker in his field.

Biography:
Dr. Weiss is a Cardiac Electrophysiologist at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP). After 14 years with Intermountain Healthcare in Salt Lake City, he moved to Phoenix in September 2019 to take the role of Assistant Professor at University of Arizona College of Medicine, Director of Ventricular Arrhythmia Management and Robotics, and Director of the EP Lab at BUMCP. He has longstanding interest in the use and evaluation of technology in medicine, particularly in the area of robotics. In clinical practice, he has performed over 1300 robotic ablation procedures for both atrial and ventricular arrhythmias and has mentored providers in robotic ablation worldwide. He has advised many medical technology companies and worked with healthcare investors as a consultant. He is a founding board member and current President of the Society for Cardiac Robotic Navigation (SCRN, www.scrn-a.com) and is the Steering Committee Chairman of the Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) EP Early Feasibility Study (EFS) Initiative. He continues to participate in an active clinical practice with focus on complex ablation and is an investigator in several ongoing clinical research projects. He lives in Scottsdale, AZ with his wife, daughters and dogs and can be found on trails or bikes when not at work.
