Scope

Cardiac rhythm disorders are a common clinical condition that affects millions of people around the world. Electrophysiologic conditions like Atrial Fibrillation (AF), Ventricular Arrhythmias (VA) and conduction system abnormalities contribute to significant patient morbidity and mortality through strokes, heart failure, sudden cardiac death and more. It is a dynamic filed and continued discovery and innovation has helped bring many therapies from bench to bedside for clinical application. Publication and access to the knowledge in Electrophysiology and other fields has become dramatically expensive. While the entire digital revolution has leveled the playing field in many fields, but this has deepened the gap in the publishing space. Exorbitant publication prices and access fees charged by many publishers negates the very fundamental principle of scientific discourse and publication.

JAFIB-EP has been brought to life by a committed clinical scientists and academics to bridge the digital and economic divide in sharing knowledge and science across the globe.
